- A separate variant of PUBG Mobile for Indian users was recently announced by PUBG Corporation.
- This news came as a surprise to the fans, as they had been hoping for good news for a few months.
PUBG Mobile is undoubtedly one of the mobile platform’s biggest titles in the battle royale genre. But in September, it was among the 118 apps and games with Chinese ties banned by the Indian Government.
And recently, with the positive developments about the availability of the game in the country, the fans’ wait has finally come to an end. PUBG Corporation announced that with a special Indian version, the game would soon make a comeback.
All known details of the version of PUBG Mobile Indian
PUBG Mobile uploaded multiple teasers for the upcoming Indian version of the game a few days back. These clips featured Dynamo, Kronten, and Jonathan, some of the most prominent Indian PUBG Mobile influencers.
Ses clips offered little insight into the release date of the game, but gave the players cause to cheer.
Gameplay changes
In the press release, PUBG Corporation confirmed that the in-game content will be enhanced to suit the needs and desires of Indian players. A balanced gaming setting and community will also be generated by these improvements.
In the Indian edition, however, there will be a small variation compared to the global one.
The changes are:
- Green Hit effect: Unlike the global version that has an option to modify the hit effect colour, in the Indian version, it will be locked to green.
- Feature to limit the playtime: A feature to restrict the playtime will ensure healthier gaming practises for the younger crowd.
- Default clothed character: By default, the characters in the game will be completely dressed.
New website
Also introduced was a new website for PUBG Mobile India. It just contains social media updates and connections to social media channels and YouTube channels, though. It does not have any further information and shows only a ‘Coming Soon’ alert.
