Similarly, Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro receive updates to MIUI 12, which is similarly based on Android 10. This is rumoured to be the last Android OS update on these users, and the Android 11 update will possibly not be received by all of them.

-Volume control for all devices
-Reworked quick settings
-Bold status bar
-Font changes in system apps
With a new volume bar for all the users, the Fingerprint-on-Display effects include a new fingerprint vibration effect. For some device apps, it has the latest toasted notifications with a bold status bar, quick settings icon update, and new fonts. Optimization for power saving has been upgraded. Now there is a rating of consumption that separately displays power consumption of hardware and software.
