1. How to Send HD Videos in WhatsApp
- Open whatsApp on your phone, and open the chat to where you want to send the HD videos.
- Bottom of the chat you will see the “Paperclip” icon on Android, and then select the “Gallery” option.
- Incase of iPhone, you can tap on the (+) icon, and select the option “Photo & Video Library.”
- Next, select the video that you want to send.
- At the top of the preview screen, you will see the “HD” icon, click on that and you will see the “Media quality” option.
- Under the Media quality, you will see Standard quality and HD quality option. Select the “HD quality,” and then tap on the “Send” icon.
- Now the video will sent in HD quality.
2. Send the High Quality Video as a File/Document
On Android
- Open WhatsApp on your Android phone, and open the chat where you want to send the HD video.
- Tap on the paper clip icon at the bottom of that chat in the typing area.
- Then, select the first option, “Document”, tap to open it and it will open the default WhatsApp File Manager.
- You will see the two option Browse documents or Choose from the gallery. To search for a video file, select the “Browse documents” option. Select the video file that you want to share.
- Select the video and click on the “Send” button and your selected video will be shared in high quality.
On iPhone
- On iPhone, the process is little different. You need save the video from the Photos app to the Files app first, so that WhatsApp will considers it as a document.
- First go to your Photos app on iphone and open the video that you want to share on WhatsApp.
- At the bottom of the screen you will see the “Share” icon, tap on that and select “Save to Files”.
- Then, select the folder where you want to save the video, rename the folder and tap on the “Save” button.
- After that open your WhatsApp and go the chat where you want to send the video.
- Then, at the bottom tap on the “(+)” icon and select “Document.”
- Open Document and select the video that you saved earlier.
- If you don’t see the video on Recents tab, you can use the Browse tab to locate the video and then tap on “Open.”
- In the video preview screen, then tap on the “Send” icon and the video will send in high quality.
