How to Delete your Entire Google Search History?
- Open the web browser on your phone or PC and go to the google.com.
- Make sure you are logged in to your Google account, on which you want to clear those search history. If you don’t then logged in to your Google account first.
- At the top right corner of the screen you will see your profile icon click on that.
- Then tap on the “Manage your Google Account” and that is going to open a page, where you can enable or disable different settings on the Google account.
- Since, you want to delete your search history, you will have to click on that option “Data and Privacy” from the above sliding options.
- Open Data and Privacy option, scroll down until you will see the section ‘Things you have done and places you have been”.
- Under that you will see the History settings option.
- Under the history settings, you will see the option “Web and App activity”, tap to open it and it will take you to another page where you can see couple of options that you can enable or disable.
- You can turn off the Web and App activity option and Google won’t save your activity that you have across the site and Google apps.
One thing you should keep in your mind that, this activity that Google saves can get your more personalized recommendations and better search experience. If you are not interested in that, then you can easily turn off this Web and App activity option.
- Again scroll down and find a button called “Manage all Web and App activity” and that will open another settings “Your Activity”, where you can manage and see all of your activity including the search history.
- Click on the ” Filter by Date and Product” option and you can now delete your search history on Google. You can select a specific time or date range from when you want your search history deleted. You can select the Activity from the Last hour, Last date. You can set a custom range or you can also delete the All time activity.
- A page will open with “Choose Activity to Delete”. Where you can select or deselect the specific activity or apps from the available options, from which you want your activity to be deleted.
- Since, you want your search history removed, just make sure that the search option is enabled or checked. You can unchecked the other ones, if you don’t want your activity to be removed from them.
- After that tap on Next and it is going to show you what you are deleting.
- Just tap on the blue Delete button below to confirm your decision and your Google search history will be deleted.
