Android apps are programmed to run all the time, even when you are not using them! Hibernation Manager lets you save your battery if you are not using your computer. When the computer goes off, the processor (CPU), settings, and even programs are hibernated to conserve battery power.
CPU hibernation (for root users)
CPU hibernation sets the Clock (processor) automatically to the lowest possible frequency and voltage, guaranteeing massive battery savings. Many challenging tasks are constantly calculated by the Processor “the brain of your computer.” For example: widget updating, checking for software updates etc. This computing power consumes other batteries and is discarded if you don’t need it. This is why when the computer is OFF the CPU frequency needs to be reduced.

Settings hibernation
Choose which settings are automatically deactivated (hibernated) when your screen is turned off and enabled when the screen is ON. If you hate adjusting your settings often, or just want to conserve more batteries, this choice is right for you. In all settings, it is best to have hibernation allowed, as this mode can automatically hibernate only currently active settings. You may add hibernation settings to: wifi, mobile data (APN), bluetooth (BT).
Applications hibernation
When the screen is OFF, choose which battery-draining apps will be disabled (hibernated).
In the background, some of your enabled apps perform those battery-draining tasks continuously. For instance: Social app updates your status and checks the new messages. If you hibernate this app, it will avoid all tasks running in the background (services) causing significant savings on batteries. Hibernation is more effective than assignment killer or any other memory cleaner.
Battery Widget
You can access the Hibernation Manager directly from your home screen through the battery widget.
Warning: If you have problems with any of the hibernated devices, deactivate all hibernation and restart that app.
