After being offline for millions of users across the globe, Google services, including Gmail, YouTube and Google search, returned online on Monday. The outage was verified by DownDetector, a website that gathers user-reported errors on websites, mobile networks and other channels, reporting that the problems began at about 11:56 GMT and are impacting users worldwide. And of those who reported issues with Gmail, 75% were unable to log in, 15% were unable to access the website, and 8% were unable to receive messages. Over 9,000 recorded cases of users having trouble accessing YouTube were seen by DownDetector. The same outage was reported on Gmail and YouTube.
