In November, Krafton, the creators of PlayerUnknown’s Battleground, or PUBG, announced the launch of PUBG Mobile in India. The relaunch of PUBG Mobile in India is expected to have redesigned gameplay and other enhancements. The game will also be released without the support of Chinese investor Tencent Games, which was responsible for the PUBG ban in India in the first place. PUBG Mobile India Release Date 2021
The release date for Battlegrounds Mobile India, also known as PUBG Mobile India, may not be far off. On its official YouTube channel, the company teased the game’s launch in the region. The video has since been removed, but sources say that the teaser video did not announce the PUBG Mobile India launch date. Instead, it simply said that the game will be released shortly. Separately, reports say that PUBG Mobile India has been granted permission by the Indian government. A new work listing for the India subsidiary was also posted on LinkedIn. The role is for an Investment and Strategy Analyst who will be in charge of the country’s mergers and acquisitions.
Although Krafton has teased the launch of PUBG Mobile in India, it has yet to announce a date. However, the official website of PUBG Mobile India, as well as its social media pages, still show a ‘Coming Soon’ tag. The game needs clearance from the Indian government, which does not seem to be going well. For instance, despite registering as an Indian subsidiary of PUBG Corporation and severing all relations with China, the game has yet to obtain government approval.
