The creators of Yukti Thareja and Emraan Hashmi’s latest album, Lut Gaye, released an official video of it on the internet on February 17th. The song is sung by Jubin Nautiyal and as soon as it was published it received immense love from fans. The song’s music video features the tale of how three men murder a bride and are shot dead in an encounter later. Is the Lut Gaye song’s music video based on a true story?
The video of the song indicated that the song was based on true events from 1991, but there is no official confirmation of the same. Three men who had murdered the bride were shot dead in an encounter on November 16, 1991. Vijay Dandekar has been the most dreaded encounter cop of the Mumbai police since he was an undercover cop. Since his love passed away, he never married.
In the song, Emraan plays the role of Vijay Dandekar, a police inspector. He falls in love with a woman that someone else was supposed to marry. Both of them elope and marry each other. The pair arrives at a household nearby and shares a few warm moments. In the presence of a priest, they tie the knot. Three men barge into their apartment moments later and shoot the bride. A policeman does his utmost to save his love, calling for an ambulance. However, his wife is dead. Later, the cop kills the three men who are responsible for the death of his wife.
The Lut Gaye of Emraan Hashmi was composed by Tanishk Bagchi and penned by Manoj Muntashir. Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru will direct the music video. Other classical songs, such as Gud Naal Ishq Mitha, Yaad Piya Ki Aane Lagi, Parde Main Rehane Do, Woh Chali Woh Chali, Leja Leja Re, and more, have also been directed. The second appearance of Emraan Hashmi in a music video after Main Rahoon Ya Na Rahoon, released in 2015, is Lut Gaye.
