On October 14, OnePlus will internationally launch its annual flagship, the OnePlus 8T. We also know that a day later, this telephone will reach the Chinese market. OnePlus today posted a promo on its social media accounts, indicating that on the same stage as OnePlus 8 T, the new members of the OnePlus Nord series would appear.
Some reports claim that the OnePlus Nord N10 5 G is considered to be the latest member of this sequence. While we are dealing with a smartphone 5G, it will be placed lower than the original OnePlus Nord.
In addition, we know its main characteristics. It turns out that a 6.49-inch FHD+ display with a refresh rate of 90Hz would sport the OnePlus Nord N10 5G. This handset will hold the first 5 G processor of the Qualcomm 6 series, the Snapdragon 690., under the hood. A rear 64MP main camera + 8MP ultra wide-angle + 2MP + 2MP sensor combination will also come with it.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 690
This is the first Snapdragon 6 series SoC, by the way, to support a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. It also supports the colour gamut of HDR10, HDR10 + with 10-bit colour displays and Rec2020. Other features include the Aqstic audio codec from Qualcomm and Fast Charge 4.0 + that debuted on the Nubia Z17.
The new Snapdragon 690 SoC is manufactured at the base using the 8 nm LLP process from Samsung. It has two Kryo 560 cores that are clocked at 2.0 GHz based on the newer A-77 architecture of the ARM. In comparison to the Snapdragon 675, this should provide a 20 percent performance boost. The remaining six cores are based at 1.7GHz clocked on A-55. With a maximum size of 8 GB RAM, it supports LPDDR4x.
The first 6 series of processors that support 5 G networking are Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 690 SoC. By using a newer X51 5 G Modem, the company has made this possible. This integrated modem can provide up to 2.5Gbps and 660Mbps download speeds. This might cause it to fall just below the X52 and X55 modems found on the respective Snapdragon 765 and 855 SoCs.
The computer will be the first model of the Nord series sold in the United States by OnePlus, and the price is estimated to be about $400.
It should be noted that the OnePlus Nord series may also be added to the Chinese market.
