Users may now follow Prime Minister Narendra Modi on WhatsApp to get his updates. Administrators can now share text, photographs, videos, stickers, and polls with their followers thanks to a new feature that went live on Meta on Wednesday.
What is WhatsApp Channel?
WhatsApp Channel is a one-way broadcasting feature that enables managers to share a variety of content types with their followers, including text, multimedia, and polls. With the help of the app, users can now stay informed and interact with the people and organizations of their choice. WhatsApp Channels are accessible through a dedicated tab called “Updates,” apart from your regular chats with family, friends, and communities.
How to Join the WhatsApp Channel of Prime Minister Narendra Modi
Ensure that WhatsApp is updated before using this interesting feature:
- Open WhatsApp, then select the Updates tab.
- Your screen’s “Find Channels” option can be found there. Just tap on it.
- There will be a list of accessible channels, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s. Tap the + sign next to his channel’s name to join. As an alternative, you can manually search for the channel using the search icon in the top-right corner of your screen, or you can just click here.
Emojis are a convenient way for people to respond and provide comment on a post on a channel. The followers won’t see how you respond. For a period of up to 30 days, WhatsApp Channels admins are free to update and modify their content; however, prior updates are then immediately deleted from the platform’s servers.
Additionally, a link back to the original channel is immediately included when you forward an update to chats or groups, making it simple for others to see the channel’s information. Celebrities, sports teams, thought leaders, and organizations have all joined WhatsApp, and some of them have even started their own WhatsApp channels.
